Mikal Jenkins is a dedicated policy analyst and public servant with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Minor in Legal Studies from York College of Pennsylvania. During his time in academia, he contributed to projects like the Democratic Progressive Alliance and The York Journal of History & Politics, gaining early experience in political research and organizing.
He has held multiple roles in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives—including Legislative Director, Research Analyst, and Fall Fellow—where he developed expertise in drafting legislation, conducting policy analysis, and managing strategic initiatives. Mikal has also interned with the Pennsylvania Lt. Governor’s Office, Newark City Council, and TD Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering division. His work reflects a commitment to civic engagement, community collaboration, and effective governance.
